Deerfield Village Resort is located in the heart of Canaan Valley, West Virginia the highest valley in the East. The resort began its first phase of construction Cortland Lane back in 1985. There is a gift shop and convenience store where you can shop for outdoor/casual apparel, souvenirs, video rentals, gifts and local crafts, daily newspapers, groceries, sundries, beverages, imported & domestic beer, and a large selection of wines.

Monday - Friday 4 to 9 pm, Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 9 pm. For lunch the restaurant serves a variety of sandwiches, salads, and soups. For dinner you will find a wonderful selection of Italian fare, in addition to classic steaks, veal, seafood, and more. Monongahela Trout is a restaurant specialty and the ambiance is absolutely delightful!

They have facilities for private groups, parties, and business meetings for up to 50 people. In addition, a professional catering service, all legal beverages, and outdoor dining in the summer.

Downstairs is the popular Gigi’s Pizza Café. It is open Monday - Saturday 11 am to 10 pm, Sunday 1 pm – 9 pm. The cafe specializes in pizza, sandwiches, and salads. They offer free delivery to Deerfield Village Lodging Units and take out is available at both restaurants.
